Since 2022, Jeanine McTasney, CPCP, FAAM, Master Tattooist and founder of Restorative Ink Specialists, has proudly served as the Lead Tattoo Artist for the Reshaping Lives Program, a national initiative by Mission Plasticos that provides reconstructive surgery and comprehensive care to underserved patients.

As part of this life-changing mission, Jeanine brings over 20 years of restorative tattooing expertise to patients recovering from trauma and mastectomy. She helps them reclaim their bodies and confidence through detailed, compassionate tattoo restoration.

We are honored to welcome Dita De Soto, owner of Black Heart Artistry, as an Associate Tattoo Artist with Restorative Ink Specialists for the Reshaping Lives Program.

With over 25 years of fine art and tattoo experience, Dita brings an exceptional blend of creativity, precision, and compassion to her restorative work. A U.S. Navy veteran and graduate of California State University Channel Islands, she holds degrees in Education and Fine Art. Her work has been showcased in galleries, publications, and private collections.

Through Mission Plasticos, Dita offers professional areola restoration tattoos, helping patients reclaim their self-image. Her unique perspective, grounded in artistic mastery and a service-driven heart, makes her a vital contributor to our shared mission: restoring dignity and beauty through the art of tattooing.
